A family in hiding. A stranger at the door. A language nobody's supposed to remember.

Sarah and her father are hiding in plain sight in upstate New York, eight years after the insurrection succeeded. She answers to Mary. They go to church. They've nearly made it through their first year — and then someone leaves an ancient Yiddish-speaking woman on their doorstep with a note: It's your turn to hide her. Good luck. A play about fear, inheritance, and the stubborn comedy of survival. Ninety-five minutes, no intermission.
