You already know the feeling: your notes are indexed by a company that sells what it learns. Your screenplay lives on someone else's server. Leaving your project tool would cost you your history. That cost is not a bug in the modern software business — it is the business model.

Off-Leash builds the exit. Not as a promise — as an architecture. Your files stay on your machine. Cloud sync is optional, never required. Open formats mean you can leave without losing anything. There is no behavioral analytics infrastructure to monetize, because we didn't build one.

I spent time inside a company where trust was weaponized. The engineering was real. The promises weren't. I left understanding that a promise is just words — and that the only privacy guarantee worth anything is one the architecture enforces.

Every Off-Leash product is designed so the privacy claim is provable, not asserted. You shouldn't have to take my word for it. The structure does the work.
