Terms
Updated September 22, 2026
Goose has no terms of service yet.
They are being drafted with counsel. Rather than publish something borrowed from a template and call it an agreement, this page says plainly that the document does not exist, and what stands in its place until it does.
What governs use of Goose in the meantime
The privacy policy is a real document and it does apply: it says what is collected from a site's owner and from the people who visit that site, which other companies handle it, and how to get it back or have it erased. Everything it describes is in force today.
Payments are processed by Stripe, under Stripe's own agreement with whoever is receiving the money. When a site sells a ticket, takes a booking or accepts a donation, the charge is made on that site owner's own Stripe account: they are the merchant of record, refunds come from their balance, and Goose's cut is zero.
What the terms will not change
These are commitments the product already keeps, and publishing an agreement is not an opportunity to quietly take them back:
- Your content is yours. Everything exports in open formats, on every plan, including the free one.
- A site can be handed to someone else, with its audience attached, without asking us.
- Deleting a site erases it from both databases, and the export is offered before the delete runs.
- No visitor tracking, no data resale, and no third-party trackers on a site Goose serves.
- Nothing about a plan changes without thirty days' notice.
Until then
If you need an agreement in place before you can use Goose — a procurement review, a board that needs one, a client who asks — write to hello@michaelcraig.group and a person will answer. That is the honest state of it, and this page changes the day the document is ready.
Connecting Facebook or Instagram to a site has its own page: what Goose keeps, and how to delete it.
