More about this place
Reconnect with nature. The tent is set on our farm in a peaceful, tranquil spot, with a lavender field on one side and a barnyard of animals waiting to meet you. The Stargazer has one queen and two twin beds with new mattresses, a seating area, outdoor seating and a private propane fire pit.
The space
The tent has no electricity and is entirely off grid, but you have the camp club house, which is fully powered and has everything you need to prepare a meal, shower and get ready for the day.
We provide a continental breakfast. We also keep a rotating selection of quick portioned meals for purchase if you would rather not bring anything — ask what is available.
Off grid does not mean offline: there is WiFi. The tent has a propane heater and solar fans, and each tent gets one propane tank for the weekend. The heater is really for comfort in the evening and for getting out of bed on a cold morning.
Weather here changes week to week. Please check conditions and overnight lows before you head over, and dress for the season.
Guest access
Explore the whole property — the lavender field and the animal farm are yours to wander. For a closer look we can arrange a farm tour where a staff member takes you inside the enclosures. During bloom you are welcome to walk through the rows; ask before cutting a bouquet, as we use special cutters so the plants aren't damaged.
The property boundary is fenced on every side except the east — the tiny home on the hill east of us is a neighbour. Please respect the other guest areas so everyone has some privacy.
Rates
$90 per night, plus a one-time $40 cleaning fee. A week or longer takes 10% off the nightly rate.

We farm this corner of Sonoita - lavender, goats, horses and a few pigs - and keep three canvas bell tents on platforms behind the main house.
